I really wonder. Nintendo talks about how it's not replacing 3DS nor Wii U. And I feel they really do mean it. The only way the Wii U plays Wii disks is that there's literally a Wii in the system if I remember right. As for 3DS I think it's kind of the same.

I can see them discounting Wii U because of how much of a failure it was but 3DS did well enough so them just dropping it would seem bad. Especially since seem to be games coming out for 3DS well after NX launches.

It's pretty fun!

It's essentially Pokemon meets Dragon Ball Heroes, where you have a team of 5 and fight your opponents in an arena and you use various attacks to knock your opponents into each other to do knockback combos or to knock them out of the ring.

You also have an Maxi-Gauge, which when filled up can let you either do an All-Out Attack, which unlocks the enemy your fighting as playable, or Maxi-Fusion, a 5-way fusion of your team that can destroy your enemy's team.

Currently there's a hefty story and local multiplayer, and a recent update is gonna add online multiplayer as well. Hopefully online is gonna be added to the localized game.

No Gotan, unfortunately.

The game is about Dance Fusions, not Patora Fusions. Though, your CAC can fuse with Vegetto, and your CAC, Piccolo and Beerus can fuse with Kibito-Kai.

Yeah, it was pretty good. It was a bit samey, though. There's a lot of RNG when it comes to unlocking characters, too. They have these things called rifts and you can merge up to three rifts to call a fight, but you have to do three regular battles first. So you merge three rifts looking for a character, but there's also a chance that you don't recruit the character when you defeat them. You also have to defeat them in a certain way. It's a pain in the ass, because the rift battles are random / selected from a few in that area.
But I fused with Gine to make a cute boy who wears a skirt and also Raditz who's hair nearly touches the floor on the smallest build, so I am content.

FemKakarotto can fuse with a pink skinned white haired girl, who's wearing a pink Saiyan armour top and red underclothes, sort of like Bardock's (i.e. no shoulders) but her spandex covers he to the neck, a girl who's wearing Dabura's clothes and she has a Recoome haircut, a girl earing Majin botoms and a loose fitting shirt with a pink-purple ponytail, a Saiyan girl who I decided is my waifu with hair that is semi-similar to Vegetto's, she has Saiyan armour like Gine's but it's black-blue with a red undersuit, a Majin girl with twintails and a swirly bit of majin hair, one in Chi-Chi's outfit, except sea-green with lime grim sleeves and red trim and recoome hair, a white haired greyish skinned girl who has white hair that's a touch blue and is sporting a skirt boot combo where you can barely see any skin, but for some reason decides to expose her midriff, not /fa/ at all, and then finally a teal haired elf-eared girl with a Hime cut, headband combo and Beerus' top with what could be Beerus' bottoms, black with gold braces and belt.

Some new up and comers would be a good replacement for Funi. There's not much dialogue in the game anyway, usually just a word. Kind of like FE13/14, they just make a grunting noise or a "Yes!" kind of thing, I don't speak Japanese so I'm not 100% sure, but the game isn't really voiced.

I'm glad we're getting Dragon Ball games and not only Dragon Ball Z games. I'm also glad people are seeing it as Dragon Ball, the way it was supposed to be. Z got too big for its own good.

This is mostly a Z/GT/Super game though. It has Kid Goku and King Piccolo, but that's pretty much it for DB characters (although it does have techniques that were only used in DB, like Tenshinhan being able to use the Mafuba).

So no Pilaf?

The Pillaf Gang appears with their robot, but they're only npc enemies and can't be recruited.
