Play Doc

>play Doc
>friend got downed
>he crawls to the door so I can get him up with the needlegun
>accidentally get out my bulletgun instead and shoot him
>lose medical license and get sued for malpractice by the family

>play doc
>get downed
>see enemy that downed me
>he fucks off and runs away with a full magazine instead of killing me
>chase him down and kill him
why does it happen so often

never happens to me, you must be intimidating. I always get blasted immediately, it's so rare I get to stand back up.

why didn't you give him a lethal dose of morphine instead?

You're playing against new players who don't realize Doc can pick himself back up

these people are always level 75+

>play caveira
>have a juicy ass
>realize there is still no porn of it

Why.

>Not IQ

>play doc
>get voted to be kicked for picking doc

Germans are for kebabs now.

she the stealth one?
I don't know why she is a defence operator, wouldn't it make more sense for her to be attack one instead?

She is in defence because the point is to attack dat ass.

still her ability is wasted on defence since all you do is camp,
She would make much much better use on attack where her ability would actually get some use and be actually useful

Speaking seriously, i think the objective was to encourage roaming, flanking, being active while on defense, to surprise the opponent. It doesnt sucessfuly create the playstyle but at least offers the option.

I think Cav could make a very good attacker. But her ability would most likely turn the rounds into terrorist hunts rather than objective, once you know where everyone is in the building.

Also Cap would need a rework if he was pushed to defense. Area denial is already covered by Smoke. Too much overlap.

A silent assassin with a silenced 99 dmg pistol would be too broken on attack.

>her ability would most likely turn the rounds into terrorist hunts rather than objective
I have only been playing the game for a few days but that seems to allready be the case for the most part.
People only seem to actually do the objective when they can't find the last guy.

I'm not too high in rank but have about 70 hours into the game. You're right that rounds end majority of the time in a team wipe. But when you have a team on mics that coordinates you can often get the objective completed.

what fucking bizarre-world version of the game are you playing where defenders are camping instead of everyone being a roamer?

I mean, seriously, are you guys playing on the console version or what?

Bomb defusing and biohazard securing still happen a lot, but hostage securing i've never seen.

PC.

Probably level/region differences.

Nothing more satisfying than dropping a ton of smoke, sprinting in, grabbing and running out the window to victory.

Even better when they shoot in the direction of the hostage and kill it.

seconding this, the meta is 100% defense-roaming right now

I play on PC, but like I said I just got the game a few days ago and from what I have seen people usually camp around the surrounding 4 or so rooms next to the objective

>Play Shipman
>Someone gets downed
>He crawls into my field of view
>He wants to be revived
>Give him a lethal dose of morphine instead

>literally just got the game
>doesn't even understand how the game is played
>making judgment calls on the usefulness of operators

Bro, you might want to get that narcissism checked out.

He's not exactly wrong though. They are usually holding a room close to the objective, and I usually see two roaming at the most.

Post favourite ops.
Mines Frost

I was just making an observation from my experience over the past week, often the maps are of a decent size yet more often than not people only make use of the area immediately surrounding the objective

>IQ's bum
That's one smart ass

I lost my shit the other day.

>hostage
>entire team dead
hiding in the bathroom as frost
>I hear them going for the hostage
>leap out and shoot the guy escorting the hostage
>round over
>...
>assume I shot the hostage and start apologizing to team
>then I notice the kill feed
>three kills at the same time
>what
>two fucking niggers stepped in my beartraps at the exact same moment I shot the hostage escort

Cool, a Siege thread.
So tady, my uPlay challenges aren't tracking for some reason. I'm 100% sure I did enough stuff to complete all the activated ones, but nothing seems to have counted.
Anyone ever have to deal with this bullshit?

Also, anyone check out the pirate hat yet?

Noticed this last night. Uplay challenges weren't working.

...

>defending basement on Hereford base
>roaming as Kapkan, manage to kill 3 guys
>another guy dies to one of my traps
>last enemy standing is Montagne
>He's crouching on the stairs leading to the basement
>the 4 people on my team are all down there, just trying to shoot him
>they are all mentally retarded and somehow manage to fucking die

How can people be so retarded.
How hard is it for people to remember they can almost always flank.
Christ.
Plus the game bugged and sent me down to fucking bronze 2 for whatever reason. This is hell but the game is so fun

Sounds fucking great senpai.

Scratch that, they seem to be working now, all the ones i compelted show as completed even.

JUST GIVE ME MY JAP OPERATORS

Was Gold 2
Now Bronze 2 due to:
>Random Disconnects making it 4v5
>Being queued against 1 plat + 4 unranked
>People not using mics or communication
>No one understanding the surrender option (now disabled)
>Losing fucktons of rating when losing even though I end up killing 3 of the 5 enemy Ops and/or having highest score in the game.
>Having to coach people and explain to them after they died why they died
>Having to explain peeker's advantage.

How do i climb higher in ranked? I've tried queuing with my Gold friend but it just fucks the teams even harder and we're given fresh bronze or unranked players vs a team of gold.

What kind of special forces nips have?

they're going to be the next and final free dlc

Samurai and ninjas

Haven't played in a while. Still have to check out the new patch.

Carlos, I swear to god

Holy shit Kaps trap's nail was fucking huge. No wonder people thoguht him useless.

Compare your teams levels with that of the enemies. If they are consistently higher than your teams, chances are you being matched against a higher-ranked premade. Disconnect until you are evenly matched.

Beyond that start adding people you enjoy playing with until you can find your own 5-man.

Remember, preemptively ragequitting before the game even begins is how you keep your sanity.

>Jap operators

yeah but anime so

>BOPE
>RPG the front door

It's funny because it's true.

Doesn't doing such result in penalties?

>tfw decided to do those training mission things since they give loads of shit to unlock more dudes so I could get more shit
I hate myself right now for making myself gho through this.
These 'turorial' shit feel half assed as all fuck, like they just slapped some explanatory cutscenes about game mechanics before a multiplayer VS bots then took away the multiplayer

Leaving before it starts incurs no penalties. It says it will, but that is because they didn't bother to change the disconnect message from the in-game one

Trust me, I would be copper 1 right now if they docked points

It's just terrorist hunt with some added stuff
Except the last one. The last one is an exclusive map.

PS let me clarify that I mean disconnect while you are in the lobby and before the map screen pops. You have to be quick checking the other teams ranks.

well its annoying as all fuck to complete especially since they give so much shit and I really want to unlock a decent variety of characters.
Its just memorise where the enemy's and what not to do every time you fuck up

>Play Barnbaum
>Someone gets downed
>Crawls into my field of view
>He wants to be revived
>No idea what to do, I just stole Docs uniform from the locker room

The exclusive map should become a multiplayer map with the gas still there.
There should be a gassed version of every map desu

I just powered throught them on casul. It was pretty quick if i remember correctly.
I guess the ones where you have to finish with more than x health can be annoying.

But the SAS are the only ops with gas masks

well to be fair I really shouldn't be playing these type of games at all, even though I love the fuck out of them.
I have a wrist muscle problem that causes me to not be able to fine aim for shit, chances are once I go into multiplayer I am just going to get killed over and over due to it

Then have the operators wear pic related like in the mission

That would make them impossible to tell apart though, and quick identification is important in these games.

Well how about this

>People only seem to actually do the objective when they can't find the last guy.
I mean, that's honestly part of the way the game is designed. That or if they vacate the objective, complete the objective to cause them to have to now press back together.

You do the objective to force a team wipe.

That could work.
They actually could make gasmask headgear for all ops. They could sell too to use on otehr modes. so theyd win with that.

Just got given a loss and a 15 minute ranked matchmaking ban because the 4 Brazilian premade I got teamed with decided to kick me for no reason. Why the fuck is this allowed?

I wish the recruits all wore the those suits, or if they brought back old recruit with glorious one-hole balaclava

>A random player who got matched with us picks recruit and we kill him immediately on round start and kick him from the game
many laughs were had

R6 is the greatest powertrip

Or something like this

>play a original donnut steel operator with his own gimmick
>can't do shit

>play recruit
>proceed to remove anything anyone on the map but teammate

i just wanted my original rainbow, not a fucking MOBA

It still bums me out how lame the recruit we got looks, especially when I remember shit like this from the early news on the game

Twitch really needs an ass-buff.

>IQ buff!!
>she counter Valk now!!
still pretty the same

>13 kills, 5 deaths
>Lose because team is braindead
>go down in rank

They should tie rank points to kills rather than just victory or loses.

The design for friendlies and even enemies were really cool

Instead of having "heroes" they just should have make the team pick their gadgets from a team inventory or something

W/e, at least Ubi made a decent game

It shouldn't be tied to kills but you shouldn't go down because of a shit team.
It's should be tied to
Revives
Team play
Gadget use
Playing the objective
Not dieing

How would they implement a system that accounts for team play though?
Getting some positive points from a number of kills past a certain threshold would make some sense imo.

What really annoys me is how this way you're playing special forces killing special forces, often from the same country/teams.

That just makes no sense.

I get that they made this to give the chars some personality, but they could just show enemies as terrorists, sorta like that GitS game does.

>play doc
>get downed
>forget i can revive myself
>die
>everyone shouts at me

that's stupid, stop having autism, this isn't a lore game

That's also true.

>caveira and valk

unf

The multiplayer in the old Rainbow Six games was Rainbow vs Rainbow and nobody complained about that.

America's Army did exactly that and it worked just fine

>USA invades the USA
I can see that happening.
