They'll be boss monster with special abilities, like Beauty will cause a party-wide Attract status regardless of gender, etc.
They'll probably also have buffed up stats or the ability to summon aids like Totem Pokémon so a single UB can be a challenge for an entire team.

That doesn't excuse it being a stupid idea for a Pokemon game
