- pregnancy as a result of an illegal action (mainly rape but there is room for more, I suppose);
- pregnancy endangers the woman's life or health in a serious way;
- child has a high chance of being borned with uncurable disease/deformity/etc.

So now the ruling conservative party is heavy prolife and the current opposition party does and says everything just to be opposite to PiS, so they are for legal abortion on demand. Hence the rucus recently.
