So fun to study. The grammar makes a lot of sense to me don't know why everyone complains about it.

I'm also really grateful I could learn the alphabet in a day instead of having to spend months and years like Chinese.

The alphabet is great both in aesthetics and practicality, I've only heard a psycho korean kid speak it irl so I can't say how it sounds

we don't use hanja anymore. it only uses in newspaper and law books.

Why does Korean have SO MANY vowels though??

I learned the very basics from listening to podcast lessons, youtube videos, and reading alot of beginner level lessons.

Now I just listen to alot of radio programs and watch cartoons and documentaries in Korean and look up the meaning of grammar patterns I hear frequently. My level is still pretty basic though.

Yeah that really gets me sometimes. I use some Korean with my friends and distinguishing 으 / 우 and 오 / 어 in conversation can be really hard sometimes, especially with people who use dialect.

I don't get the hate behing hangul. its the best combinations of eastern and western alphabets. Most asians are incapable to right latin letter properly. Koreans do this quite well because of hangul.
