How could it have gone right?
Western Europe feeling like commiting suicide and wanting to drag us with them
Eurotards hate eachother even though all their ancestors got fucked by the same Roman niggers
The whole areas still hasn't recovered from the global economic recession caused by americans, as sad as it is, and the lack of recovery is mostly the fault of demographic problems and rigid labor laws and strong unions. Blaming EU for the lack of recovery is great meme to use to hide the fact that any real options are out of the question because europeans countries are ironically enough a hundred times more protectionist than a the us, who've already bounced back to pre-2008 economic growth
> implying your shit country isn't leeching off the west
Your shitty Poland capital is London
The rich getting richer.
Also, I guess we as a Continent wishing to stand up to America, later realized that we had worst enemies, and that we might as well remain best allies.
We are the Leech King and we don't give a shit, we should milk Germoney some more and then tell them to fuck off
>and then tell them to fuck off
that's not how it works, Waclav
and I'm 100% serious
I wonder...
When they decided to be more than the original plans of the benelux.
>2008 recession was clearly caused by the US
>Euros still put all of their excess capital into the US
>we have no plans to give it back if everything goes to shit
nothing, EU is actually getting better and better.
Have you heard how we cucked Apple?
Colonialism hehehehe
>EU is getting better and better
Then why did the UK decide to leave?
haha nice joke.
but for reals, you are grateful for the european development funds, r-right?
Overreach and imprudence
Sure, thanks
thats the reason why EU is getting better, actually.
Britain was holding us back, they did anything they could to prevent an even close union
They need a common language and a common destiny.
It would make much more sense if they threw out the poor cunts and the French.
>thats the reason why EU is getting better, actually.
Losing a huge portion of your collective economy is getting better?
we dont lose anything really, since the brits will join EEU eventually
It's more because the UK were the only ones that sometimes...go against German decisions. Now since they will be out, Germany has 100% control of EU.
I thought that France was starting to get uppity
>an even close union
Why do we need that?
They bark too loud, but don't bite.
No protection of the outer borders.
Maybe too much (and too fast) expansion to the east.
4th Reich inshallah
to protect us from foreign interests
lets say, for example, a big american it company convinces one EU country to give it a zero-tax deal, and they tax all their EU earnings in that country.
Then the EU comission needs some power to be able to make said company pay back the taxes
where were all those concerns with "protection from foreign interests" when EU signed all those treaties with China?
Because Germany benefits from it, why do you think they're shilling for everything from an EU army to an "ever closer union" in literally every thread?
and Monsanto btw. Almost forgot about them.
The Euro, if it had strayed an economic area with bargaining power it would have been breddy good.
Wow, that sounds like great justification for voluntarily giving up national sovereignty. Tax deals.
EU was less powerfull back then.
without British obstructionism, much more can be acchieved
Sounds like a bunch of anti-competitive nanny state horseshit. Go ruin some other continent.
sovereignty is a meme.
Only big countries can be sovereign. Small countries will be always influenced by bigger countries.
And even countries like Britain and Germany are not big enough to resist US influence.
Only if we united at an EU level, we can be truly sovereign
Belgians can't respect birders and their police are bussing illegals into France.
so are you ok when companies like apple pay zero taxes?
>Ja, little untermensch, now zat ze pesky pesky English are gone ve are going to accomplish so much
The polish capital is Chicago
*Borders but let's be honest, those turds probably abuse birders to be honest.
They have an overseas territory around Greenpoint Brooklyn as well desu.
Ah yes, the old "being a vassal of Germany is better than being a vassal of the USA" argument.
>Only if we united at an EU level, we can be truly sovereign
Is there something actually wrong with you people or something?
A Reich
Grow up.
the difference is, if EU unites, each country gets a representation in the EU pairlament, and each EU citizen can start a political career in the EU.
If your country is an US vassal, you get no represenation and very little options to influence the US politics
Or you can be independent and free
Then help us dismantle the American Union, you think I wan't to associate with coasties?
no, this is not an option unless you are the size of USA.
You would be way worse off if each state was independant
The Elites pushing multikulti in order to form a united states of europe
Yeah, actually it is. "Somebody is bigger than me" is not justification for throwing away 2000 years of independence, especially when the bigger party is an ally that shares many of your interests and not an enemy. Disparate groups of people have united throughout history to combat exterior threats, not out of sheer butthurt that one of their former colonies has a bigger spot at the negotiating table than them. This logic is so fucking retarded it's making my head hurt, thank god you people are on the losing side now.
why do you act as if an European unification would mean we become slaves of some foreign power.
We will still have democracy, and our interests will be represented on European level.
And the countries will keep soveringity in areas that dont require EU level decision making
>You would be way worse off if each state was independant
No, some of the states would be worse off and some would be better. That's the point. Many of us USA folks are tired of the parasites dragging us down.
>You would be way worse off if each state was independant
Not really, maybe with their current borders, especially in the west since it's was basically just cut into boxes, but borders formed naturally could work fine, and California would rightfully fall into their salty, radioactive sea.
>why do you act as if an European unification would mean we become slaves of some foreign power.
Because that's already happened?
>We will still have democracy, and our interests will be represented on European level.
They're not, and the EU is almost wholly unelected.
>And the countries will keep soveringity in areas that dont require EU level decision making
If you actually sincerely believe that I suggest you read up on American history, because it's utter bull.
>no, this is not an option unless you are the size of USA.
>Wanting to give away our independence to brussels beureaucrats
Larger Governments will only keep the human population growing out of control until it inevitably crashes and half of all life on earth is dead.
This guy gets it.
They believe in the Cargo cult version of nation building: if you give a 70 IQ man from Mali a European passport, he will become a 130 IQ engineer or scientist.
dat's dank
In my opinion, the EU went wrong when it went the direction the Pan American Union (now called the Organization of American States) didn't, that is, centralization and having more political power over the countries in it than the governments of those countries.
Why are you getting involved in this Magyar?
Your future is with the Czechs, Slovaks, Austrians and if that works out probably the Croats.
Its a better option than playing second fiddle to fairweather friend Poland.
Fucking ebin
dubs oslo
The people who want it are fucking subhuman?
Too many different peoples.
Also Eastern Europe is a fucking huge leech.
If you take a look at attached map, it is very clear which nations should be in the EU.
>They're not, and the EU is almost wholly unelected.
can you elaborate on that please?
which of the EU institutions is unelected?
trusting too much in the USA... carrying too many lazy countries...
Mistakes were made
They tried to create United States in a place that has actual traditions and history not to mention large social and economical differences.
Gay degeneracy
Nothing, it just starts to crumble like all great empires, countries etc. do at some point.
Roman Empire split into two and then slowly diminished. Mongolia Khanate crumbled. Alexander the Great and his empire disappeared.
Ottoman empire is no more.
Soviet Union died.
British Commonwealth is nothing but a title at this point.
Etc.
What exactly went right in the first place?
It's better than letting Germans rule EUrope ťbh
Free trade and free movement of people inside the EU.
Unrestricted free movement is a terrible idea. Even worse is having free trade and movement as a package.
We joined for no reason
