Worst part about interviewing is someone who is hungry for experience and a "career" but are too lazy to learn about the field they want to get into. As a recent engineering graduate, I swear every single woman in engineering ends up not doing engineering, either because they end up switching to some meme area like "business management" or because they simply don't have the aptitudes to be engineers. Literally not a single one of the women in my graduating cohort has gotten a job as an engineer. It's crazy how unfit women are for engineering (with some exceptions, obviously).

i just graduated in biology and the only jobs for bachelors level is literally filled with slave labor grad students working for less than $10 an hour or "volunteers" who work in a lab for experience.

some fields like research are truly really broken imo.

Not surprised, in my cohort most ended up working in something else (at least, among those who have found employment), but I wouldn't be so quicky to call it a "crisis" and blame it on the job market; a fuckton of people just went into engineering because the "dude engineering lmao just do 3 years and you have a guaranteed job anywhere you want lmao" meme is way too widespread and then after a couple of semesters they're already burned out and they realize that they probably should have invested a few moments to actually think about the program in which they were enrolling, rather than just being stupid mindless fucking normies behaving like sheeple (as they always do).

honestly if I do the same job as I'm currently doing but with only $30-40k per year, I'd still do it. I literally do absolutely nothing at all with my disposable income. All I want is a home which is quiet (I don't want a big home, or a luxurious home, or a nice-looking home, just a quiet one with a minimal level of cleanliness) and with good internet+PC. That's literally it.
