Noone can tell whether they are dangerous or not because there are no real long term studies. Americans just sell it and then watch how many people die in agony and then decide whether it's good or not.
Also selling GMO food is illegal by law here and CETA/TTIP would challenge that. However people voted in favour of that law. But who cares about democracy when Monsanto can make some more cash.
