Do people from your country adopt people from other countries?
In Finland we adopt mainly from South Africa but also recently from China, India and Colombia after Russia banned us because we now have legal gay marriage.
An adopted child also automatically gets a Finnish passport.

One is a rather pretty black brazilian girl who I dated in high school, adopted as a newborn, I have known her since kindergarten.
Another is an ucrainian dude who was adopted as a kid. Kind of a dumbass, but not a bad guy.

Yeah, my best mate from school was adopted. His father died in a car accident when he was young but his mother was unfit to take care of him, as she was addicted to drugs. He also had a brother but his grandma took him under her care. He's back in contact with them now though. Never met his biological mother or brother, but his adoptive parents are nice people.
The Finnish word for hope is sometimes used as a masculine name here in Finland. Just because Hope is a feminine name in anglosphere, doesn't mean it's feminine in other countries as well.

I would consider adoption down the line once I have an income and somewhere to live etc if I cannot find a girl to have children with but I would adopt from England anyway, I don't understand people who adopt from other countries when there are children who need adopting from their own country.
