First Canadian Place
It's ok I guess

John Hancock Tower
Alright

1. 1 WTC, New York
2. It's pretty nice. Always interesting seeing it in movies.

Rhodes State office tower

It's a fucking hideous example of brutalism combined with not giving a damn.

The only good part is the name: Rhodes State.

1. Bank of America Financial Center, Spokane
2. It looks ok I guess, pretty boring though.

I used to watch extreme makeover when I was younger and I really wanted to go to sears mall
woah, that's sexy

1. Premier club
2. Meh

That happens when your main airport us in the middle of the city, right next to the downtown.

1. Fifth-third tower; Lexington, KY
2. Nope

Lol

It's funny because Sears doesn't really exist to that extent anymore partially because of blowing its budget on that tower and also partially by refusing to adapt to stuff like K-Mart and co.

wonder what freud would say about our giant penis reaching for the sky

anways I think it looks pretty okay, I volunteer on saturdays right next to it, always catch myself staring up, sometimes there are people doing a walk outside on the edge, even though they're strapped in it scares me...

Sometimes a Space Needle is just a space needle.

432 Park is ugly tho

1.Grand Hyatt
2.It's a pretty boring rectangle, though it doesn't look stupid at least

>when your tallest building is owned entirely by Arabs
kek
1. In NYC; One World Trade Center posted here:
2. It's pretty fucking beautiful imho
Much better looking than the former WTC

In Dubai it's the Burj Khalifa

I'd say it's not bad looking. I guess I'm attracted to the neo-futurism/glassy look in supertall buildings.

>Much better looking than the former WTC
desu I kind of liked the old design better, the facade looked more interesting

>432 Park

That thing is like the Chile of buildings kek

I mean, I like staples as much as the next guy but we gotta move onto better things, y'know?

>State of Qatar (95%)

I literally did not know this
JUST

...

Technically it would be the Torre Reforma but while it's gone taller than pictured it's still not completed which technically becomes the third largest in a couple of years. Hard to keep track of these things in big cities.

meh, it's not an eyesore but I don't particularly like it.

A truly international city if I do say so myself kek

*pictured becomes third largest

>tfw never been surrounded by tall buildings
>this place is a 10 minute train ride from me

too lazy

More like
>the SHART
amirite lol

As someone who would have rather they rebuilt the Twin Towers, the current 1 WTC has grown on me.

Europe isn't really that known for skyscrapers tbqh

Fucking Comcast

pretentius t bh

nice one!

Madrid

Is it?

Tallest building in latin america + Spain. I like it.

this is so cute, they look lost

Where have I see the 2nd from the left? It looks familiar....

meh, at least you're not going full retard new rich like gulf arabs

The new WTC tries to cheat with a "spire"/antenna. Only top floor/roof should count. By that measure, I think the winner is that apartment tower by Central Park.

Anyway...

>Portland, Oregon - The Wells Fargo Center (116.4m/546ft). Finished in 1972.
>It's kind of ugly

It's a very generic 70's-era box building. And it's not even that tall for a major skyscraper. But the view is nice; I met with a lawyer near the top floor once and you can see a huge expanse of the city from his office window.

>has tallest building in the world
>gets destroyed by sandpeople
>build a taller tower then before
>1776 feet to be exact
youtube.com/watch?v=ZOJCmPKaYN8

>has tallest building in the world
>gets destroyed by sandpeople
>sandpeople build the tallest building in the world

JUST

Was the 1776 feet on purpose

nah, we were just like "oh shit, this thing is just going to happen to be as high as the year our nation was founded"

>making it 1776 feet tall instead of 1776 miles tall

Why even live, America?

Yeah; it's a bit pretentious, especially given that it's with the spire only, but I see how some see it to be like pottery.

>has tallest building in the world
The WTC hadn't been tallest in the world since 1973, IIRC. The Petronas Twin Towers were the tallest as of 9/11, IIRC.

apparently it's this lmao wtf I've lived here all my life and didn't even know this building existed
not true

>Unironically using a song meant as satire
Americans really are at a point where they've crossed so many lines they actually are on another level.

new york isn't even american though

SimCity

What did he mean by this?

>Wall Street
>Statue of Liberty
>one of the original American colonies
>financial hub of the USA
>the most prolific US city
>"not American"

Better than I thought. It's the pointy one on the left

1. pic related
2. No, it's alright for being almost 30 years old now.

Was probably pretty cutting edge back in its day.

A FUCKING LIGHTPOLE

A FUCKING HOTEL

But in any case Europe's not a continent known for their skyscrapers.

Could use a new coat of paint.

What's funny is that Trump lives like 10 minutes away from them as his second home is in my city.
